*Files uploaded to our server will be preserved for 30 days.
Please follow these steps to quickly transfer files to or from our Austin, Bedford, Saint Paul, or Minneapolis Smyth Companies locations:
- Ensure that your files follow the Smyth file specification.
- Contact your Smyth Companies Customer Service Representative for login information.
- Obtain a FTP Client (See Additional Information below)
- If possible, we recommend that StuffIt Deluxe, published by Alladin/Allume Systems, be used to compress your files into a single StuffIt archive prior to uploading.
- Upload files to desired Smyth Companies location
- Send recipient of the transferred file an email listing the File Name, Trim Size, Colors, and any Special Instructions.
FTP clients
To transfer or retrieve files from our FTP site please use one of the following client applications:
Mac
- FileZilla: ( filezilla-project.org )
- CyberDuck: ( www.cyberduck.ch )
- Fetch: ( www.fetchsoftworks.com )
PC
To transfer or retrieve files from our FTP site using a PC, you can use either Internet Explorer or a FTP client
- Through Internet Explorer, access the following link from your browser: ftp://username@ftp.mustplus-okinawa.com
- FileZilla: ( filezilla-project.org )
- CyberDuck: ( www.cyberduck.ch )
